West Ham United boss wants Huth action
West Ham United’s Gianfranco Zola left the Britannia Stadium complaining about Robert Huth.
The Hammers remain in the bottom three of the Premier League following a 2-1 reverse at Stoke City, but Zola felt Huth should have been sent off during the match.
The Italian coach was referring to the German international catching defender Matthew Upson in the face ahead of a free-kick, which left the United ace needing treatment.
"I saw the incident. Matthew is okay now, he had a few stitches," said Zola. "Looking at the video after the match obviously it was a sending-off. I can only assume the referee didn't see it.
"I haven't spoken to the referee about it. I don't think I need to talk to him. It is down to the authorities to decide (whether further action is required) - it won't change the story for me."
