Cech philosophical over Chelsea defeat
Petr Cech is confident Chelsea can bounce back from their Villa Park defeat.
Despite taking a first-half lead against Aston Villa the Midlands side hit back to beat the Blues 2-1, a result which helped Manchester United return to the top of the league.
As disappointed as Cech is with his side’s second successive away defeat in the Premier league, he insists his side can bounce back and press ahead for the title.
"We gave United a chance to get in front of us and it is three points dropped unnecessarily,” the Czech Republic international goalkeeper said. "But there is still a long way to go.
"I think it is better to lose one game and win one than draw twice. We haven't got a problem playing away from home. It is unfortunate and we have to reflect on it, but we can repair the damage."
