Brede Hangeland is looking to end speculation linking him with Arsenal once and for all.

The Norwegian was heavily linked with the Gunners in the summer, but he is now only interested in staying at Fulham where he hopes to shortly pen a new deal.

"We have had a couple of meetings (about a new contract) and hopefully it won't be long," said Hangeland. "It's nice when people think I've done well.

“But I don't really know how much was in that speculation (linking him with Arsenal). In the summer there will always be rumours. I just concentrate on the training ground and the pitch."
