Adel Taarabt could yet play his way into Tottenham Hotspur Football Club’s plans.

Having so far failed to force his way into the Spurs first team on a regular basis, the talented youngster has been loaned out to Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

Taarabt scored a remarkable goal for the Loftus Road club at the weekend, and this has inevitably sparked hope amongst the White Hart Lane faithful that he could be given another chance.

"Spurs wanted me to sign a contract (extension) in the summer but I wanted to go to Spain or Italy,” he said. “But hopefully I’ll be in the Premier League soon.”

In many ways, Taarabt is in a similar situation to Giovani Dos Santos, in that they are both potentially superb, but their chance at Tottenham has yet to really arrive.
