John Carew insists Aston Villa Football Club are no longer afraid of rival teams.

Having already beaten Liverpool and Chelsea this season, Carew insists he and his team-mates are no longer scared of any of the so-called Big Four Premier League giants.

"I think one of the big things now is that we aren't scared of these teams. We are getting more consistency in our performances,” he said. "The team is looking really strong and really solid.”

Villa are in sixth position in the table six points behind leaders Manchester United, yet their game in hand could put them within striking distance of pole position.
