Di Santo open to Blackburn Rovers stay
Franco Di Santo would be happy to extend his stay at Blackburn Rovers Football Club.
The Argentine striker is making a big impression at Ewood Park after arriving on loan from Chelsea, but he is expected to return to Stamford Bridge in January.
Sam Allardyce would love to keep Di Santo at Rovers for the rest of the season at least, and the 20-year-old admits he is open to extending his stay in Lancashire.
"It is good for me being at Blackburn. I am very happy to be here because the manager has given me the opportunity to play,” the youngster told the Guardian.
"That has given me the opportunity to improve and gain experience and I hope to get better and better over the next few games. Sam Allardyce is helping me to become a more complete player.
“I am very happy at Blackburn. I need to improve and gain experience. I need to play games and score goals. If I go back to Chelsea I will try my best but if I stay here I will continue my education.
"If I play for Chelsea, I will be happy because they were my first team in England and I always hoped to play in a top team. But if I stay here, I will be happy. I won't have a problem."
