Jack Collison admits he is baffled at West Ham United’s struggles this season.

The Hammers began the season with aspirations of a top-six finish, but as they prepare to welcome Arsenal on Sunday, they are second-bottom of the Premier League.

"It's hard to put your finger on what's going wrong," Collison told The Guardian. "Maybe it's a bit of confidence. We have good players, we've definitely got the right manager.

“We still feel we can have a good season and finish in the right half of the table rather than fighting for our lives. But it's a matter of doing it rather than saying it."
