Martin Petrov is an injury concern for Manchester City Football Club.
The 30-year-old Bulgarian international started and scored for the Blues in their 2-2 draw with Fulham on Sunday, but a knock to the knee makes him a doubt for the Carling Cup clash this week.
“I felt it was important for Martin to play," manager Mark Hughes told the club's official website. "He's been doing well and I didn't want to disappoint him.
"But he got a bang on the knee and was unable to finish. It's been sore for a while now. Hopefully it won't be too serious, a bang and not a twist."
