David Bentley is desperate to be given another chance at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

The midfielder has been a disaster since moving to White Hart Lane from Blackburn Rovers last summer, in a deal which cost the Londoners £15million.

Bentley has played just ten minutes of Premier League football this term, but after impressing against Everton in the Carling Cup, he insists he is ready to finally make his mark for Spurs.

“It's been a difficult time and I've encountered every problem in the book,” he said. “Sometimes my efforts have been lacking because I haven't been fully focused. I think I've got that right now.”
