Giovani Dos Santos’s father admits he is unsure if the player has a future at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Mexican forward moved to White Hart Lane from Barcelona last summer, yet injuries and the uncertainty over the Londoners last season have prevented him from making a mark.

Giovani ended last season on loan at Ipswich Town in the Championship, and although he returned to Spurs this term, he has further been hindered by an ankle injury.

Deportivo La Coruna are said to want the 20-year-old back in Spain, and his father, Zezinho, said: “I know nothing about it right now; the truth is, there is nothing new.”
