McCarthy: Wolverhampton deserved three points
08:42 PM 31 October, 2009
Mick McCarthy feels Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club should have left the Britannia Stadium with all three points on Saturday afternoon.

Stoke City led the Premier League new-boys 2-0 at the half-time break, but the visitors struck back with a brace from Jody Craddock to cinch a point.

“I'm disappointed we haven't won that game,” McCarthy told Sky Sports. “I think we should have won it the second half. But then I thought we should have beaten Aston Villa and Everton.

"We've had three games and got three points, we might as well have won one and lost two, it’s barmy. So I'm disappointed and we really have to turn our good performances and draws into wins."
