Pulis disappointed as Stoke City surrender 2-0 lead
08:43 PM 31 October, 2009
Tony Pulis was understandably disappointed as his Stoke City Football Club side threw away a 2-0 lead against Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

A George Elokobi own-goal and a Matthew Etherington strike put the Potters into a commanding half-time lead, but Mick McCarthy’s team hit back with two goals after the break.

“We are disappointed. We played really well first half and really should have come in maybe even more than two goals up,” Pulis told Sky Sports. “First half I thought we were very, very good.

“Second half, goals change games and they get two off a set-play, I didn't think Thomas Sorensen had really a lot to do all of the game so it's disappointing in some respects."
