Hodgson modest following Fulham victory
Roy Hodgson is not getting carried away with Fulham’s win over Liverpool.
Bobby Zamora, Erik Nevland and Clint Dempsey were all on target in the 3-1 win over the Reds, who were reduced to nine men following the dismissals of Phillip Degen and Jamie Carragher.
“We still have got a lot of work to do. I am preaching modesty and humility,” said Hodgson. "To be in the Premier League is a wonderful achievement for Fulham.
"It is important to keep our feet on the ground and we will have to because this year European competition is a huge stretch on our resources."
