Liverpool to move for Matthew Upson?
11:11 PM 31 October, 2009
Liverpool Football Club have been linked with a move for Matthew Upson.

Reports in The Mirror claim West Ham United are prepared to sell the England international defender in the New Year, as their financial situation continues to worry.

It is claimed Rafael Benitez tried to sign Upson on the summer transfer deadline day, but he couldn’t agree a deal with the Londoners for the deal to go through.

However, it remains to be seen if the Spaniard will be given enough cash to return for the 31-year-old in January, as the Hammers rate him at a whopping £15million.

Frankly speaking,i think that Rafa should practice better man-management skills with his players and try to be bold and bring in the youth team/reserve players.after all he has bought them in. For example, that Ukrainian-Nuclear disaster has been proven to be a flop at Liverpool but not at Hertha Berlin.Fine lets say the EPL is tough for him, then give other young players a chance, like Lauri Dalle Valle,Pachecho,Nemeth ( whos on loan ).Why buy em when you dont want to give em a chance? He plays that French joke Ngog who DIDN'T win a single ball against Utd but got lucky and score,i still blame him for the loss against Lyon. Finally,Rafa has restricted the way his players play. For eg. look at Riera, when he came in he excelled for the first few games then he stopped his trickery, running out of a sudden.Media blamed him for poor form and that demoralised him surely but then he was on form again for Spain. So it was that way - Riera bad for liverpool with no trickery but full of energy and skill for Spain.Look at Glen Johnson, his dribbling, running forward is decreasing now,Insua as well. But the media doesnt know this, they blame the players who then turn out demoralized Pls Rafa.Change.

Why is the club going to splash out £15 million pounds on someone who is over the age of thirty, Liverpool have not got that kind of money to be spending like that.

I think it's time for Rafa ti go and find a replacement that really understand English football.Rafa is good but not in Premiere league. He brought all the wrong player to Liverpool. Can't even beat Arsenal youngster in the League cup.Reina should also leave. He's not a keeper but a clown name 'DOINK'.I bet if Rafa still in charged, the club will never win the league.

What I don't get it is why do you always make us REDs supporters sad !!! You are helping Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal !! Torres and Benayoun are our most creative and skillful players, why sub them when we already had the momentum going after the equaliser ???
