Gary Caldwell is the latest name being linked with Middlesbrough Football Club.

Since Gordon Strachan arrived at the Riverside Stadium as Gareth Southgate’s successor last week, he has been linked with a number of players for the January window.

It is believed the Boro manager will be given around £15million to spend in a bid to return the club to the Premier League, and Caldwell has emerged as a target.

The defender is out of contract at Celtic, Strachan’s former club, in the summer, and the Teesside outfit will be hopeful of taking him for a knockdown price.
