Birmingham City eye Davis deal
10:30 AM 02 November, 2009
Steven Davis is wanted by Birmingham City Football Club, according to reports.

Alex McLeish has been promised around £40million to spend in the New Year transfer window, and he is likely to spend the bulk of this to keep the Blues in the Premier League.

Reports in the Scottish Sun claim he will return to former club Rangers to take Davis, the former Aston Villa player, to St Andrews as soon as the window reopens.

The midfielder, who has 38 international caps for Northern Ireland, could be sold by the Scottish giants as they look to ease their financial situation.
