No Tottenham Hotspur bid for Boyd
10:30 AM 03 November, 2009
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have not made an offer for George Boyd.

It was reported at the weekend that Harry Redknapp had been in touch with Peterborough United over the forward, who the Championship side rate at £6million.

The Spurs manager is expected to offload Roman Pavlyuchenko when the window reopens in the New Year, and he is said to fancy the Posh striker as a replacement.

However, United’s director of football, the larger-than-life Barry Fry, told the Peterborough Telegraph: “I have had no contact from Harry Redknapp about Boyd.”
