Jose Reina admits he wants to sign a new contract at Liverpool Football Club.
It was revealed last week that the Reds want to hand the Spanish goalkeeper a new deal, and the 27-year-old, who has been at Anfield since the summer of 2005, is keen to open discussions.
“My aim is to get a new contract in the future and I want to be here for many years. Apparently the club wants the same," Reina told the club's official website.
"It's already my fifth season here and that says it all, really. One of my daughters is a Scouser. I have some friends here and my wife and kids are happy. I have every reason to stay longer.”
