Hughes set to anger Everton with Rodwell interest
MANCHESTER CITY Football Club are said to be showing an interest in Jack Rodwell.
The 18-year-old looks likely to become a big star at club and international level in the future, and is already establishing himself in the Everton side.
Rodwell can play in the heart of the defence or as a holding midfielder, the latter of which shows his class considering this position is usually associated with more experienced players.
Reports in the Daily Mail claim City manager Mark Hughes has had the youngster watched in most Toffees games this season, sparking speculation of a forthcoming bid.
The interest from the Eastlands club is sure to anger Goodison Park manager David Moyes, who feels he was bullied into selling Joleon Lescott to them in the summer.
