ZAVON HINES hopes his time has come at West Ham United Football Club.

The 20-year-old scored a late winner against Aston Villa on Wednesday night, and with Carlton Cole requiring a spell on the sidelines, the striker is looking to make a big impact with the Hammers.

"I'm a very different player to Carlton, who's been tremendous for us so far, but I'm ready to do my level best," Jamaican-born Hines told the Evening Standard.

"It's all about taking your chance when you get it. I had been plugging away in the reserves but I've got my opportunity this season and I've tried to take it."
