No Manchester City regrets for Jordan
01:00 PM 07 November, 2009
Stephen Jordan maintains he did the right thing by leaving Manchester City Football Club.

The fullback grew up a City fan and joined the club as an eight-year-old, but he left in the summer of 2007 for Burnley, who make the trip to Eastlands on Saturday afternoon.

"I have good memories of my time at City as I was a fan. I was only eight when I joined," Jordan said. "I will have some family and friends there on Saturday, so it should be a bit of a special day.

"It is incredible what has happened at City with the money and the players they have brought in. But I'm not envious. I'm getting games and feel as though I'm improving because of that.

"I would rather be playing regularly with Burnley rather than being in the fourth team at City. I'm happy here. That's all that matters. It's getting harder for young players to break through at City."
