No Stoke City problem with Tuncay
10:17 AM 09 November, 2009
Tony Pulis insists he has no problem with Stoke City Football Club forward Tuncay Sanli.

The Turkish international reacted angrily when he was substituted at Hull City following Abdoulaye Faye’s red card, despite him only being on the pitch himself for a matter of minutes.

Tuncay stormed down the tunnel to show his anger, but Pulis is refusing to criticise the forward and he insists he can understand why he reacted in such a way.

"I've got no problems, but it still won't stop me doing it again," said Pulis. "It is not about me or Tuncay; it is about the team. We have lost a centre-half, so we had to put another defender on."

Epic fail by Pulis.. Tuncay is a gem, you paid £5million for him.. Sorry but i didn't even know who Pulis was before this incident.. A manager whose career could come as far as Portsmouth only.. While Tuncay is a player with immense experience on the European and the International stage.

Tuncay is shows astonishing creativity and skills when he is part of a team that understands his play. I know most people would say let him adapt to the team...but why buy someone like that unless you want to use his particular gifts? Both manager and team had better figure it out soon else they are going to waste the opportunity they have with him in the side. Look at the Forlan saga at Manchester United... and what happened when he went somewhere else. It obviously wasnt the player.

From day one plan was to buy TUNCAY and sell him during winter break with a non-negligible profit. At 5M, he came in cheap and can easily go at 6, 7 or 8M which would not be a bad investment. Stoke fans, I suppose, would have been taken for a r*** if that really happens. Tuncay is absolute class player and deserves a lot more than this.

This is not acceptable! Pulis has to motivate his players, not treat them like a peanut! Pulis MUST GO!! he can't handle talented players..
