D-Day arrives for Robinho’s proposed Barcelona move
11:30 AM 11 November, 2009
Barcelona and Manchester City are said to be discussing the possible transfer of Robinho today (Wednesday), despite Mark Hughes insisting he wants the player to stay.

Members of the Blues squad not involved in internationals are currently training in Abu Dhabi, and The Sun claim members of the board, Robinho’s father and Barca representatives are also present.

It is believed the Spanish side are prepared to pay a staggering £6million for the loan of the former Real Madrid player for the rest of the season, with a permanent move lined up for the summer.

City would want to recoup all of the £32.5million they paid Real for Robinho fifteen months ago, and a deal looks increasingly likely to happen in the coming weeks.
