Eastlands draw can set Burnley up
09:00 AM 12 November, 2009
Steven Fletcher believes Burnley Football Club’s 3-3 draw at Eastlands on Saturday afternoon can be a significant moment in their season.

The Clarets have made a fine start to the season having won five times at home already, but ahead of last weekend, they had lost all of their away games.

However, having held big-spending Manchester City to a 3-3 draw in a thrilling match, Fletcher has told the Daily Record this could be a significant moment in their season.

"There's a lot of pressure off getting such a good performance away from home," he said. "It's unusual for us to go to a big place like that and be a bit disappointed not to get three points.

"We know we have not been up to scratch in our away games but we are happy now. There was a buzz in the changing room afterwards. Hopefully we can build on this."
