Liverpool Football Club’s Andrea Dossena is highly regarded by Napoli.

The Italian fullback has struggled to establish himself at Anfield following his £7million move from Udinese last summer, and an exit in January looks increasingly likely.

Dossena is eager for regular first team football to boost his World Cup chances, and Napoli, who have most been linked with him, have confirmed their liking for the player.

“It would be hypocritical of me to say that he isn't a good player, but I am not the only one who says so, his career speaks volumes as well,” said sports chief Ricardo Bigon.
