Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have been linked with Andres D’Alessandro.

White Hart Lane manager Harry Redknapp brought the Argentine international to England during his spell in charge of Portsmouth, when the player spent the second half of 2005/06 at Fratton Park.

D’Alessandro is currently back in South America with Brazilian side Internacional, but the agent of the 28-year-old claims the midfielder is keen on a return to Europe.

Some reports now claim Redknapp wants to be reunited with the player in the New Year transfer window, but such a move would have to be considered a surprise.

Whilst the Spurs manager has money to spend when the transfer window reopens, he has other targets and is unlikely to make D’Alessandro a potential recruit.
