Arsenal fear lengthy van Persie lay-off
04:30 PM 15 November, 2009
Arsenal Football Club’s Robin van Persie could face three months on the sidelines.

The former Feyenoord ace has been in superb form this season, as the Gunners look set to prove their doubters wrong by making a bid for the Premier League title.

However, they now fear they will have to cope without van Persie for as long as three months, after the forward picked up an injury whilst on international duty.

The Holland star lasted just ten minutes of the goalless friendly with Italy, before he was stretchered off with suspected ankle ligament damage.

Come on guys it's not just RVP scoring the goals for us this year. We still have Eduardo & Mr Vella. We will be OK. If the team keeps on playing the way have been. We will see this through.?
