Gary Megson feels Bolton Wanderers Football Club have their very own Emile Heskey.

Whilst the country continue to rave about Wigan Athletic’s Heskey due to his England performances, Bolton boss Megson believes Kevin Davies would do an equally effective job.

"It's obviously going to be difficult for Kevin to break into the England scene given his age, but he wouldn't let anybody down," said Megson in the Daily Star.

"When you look at what he is doing in the Premier League at the moment, you couldn't ask much more from him. Emile Heskey came back into the squad after being out of it for a good while, so who knows?

"Kevin has similar attributes to Emile with what he offers. He is probably the most unselfish centre-forward you could ever come across. I'm really pleased to have him here.”
