Juventus are interested in signing Bacary Sagna according to the player’s agent, although it is unlikely that a transfer from Arsenal Football Club will transpire.

The France international has been superb since joining the Gunners from Auxerre in the summer of 2007, and he has established himself as a key member of Arsene Wenger’s back four.

It comes as little surprise, then, to learn of Juventus’ interest in Sagna, but his agent, Christophe Mongai, has moved to quell the likelihood of a transfer.

"Juventus have contacted us, but not recently and, in any case, they have never made an offer to Arsenal," Mongai told tuttomercatoweb.It.

"It's possible that Juventus has spoken directly with Arsenal, but nowadays the will of the player is decisive and he is fine in London and focused on his club and his national team.

"It is normal that a player like Sagna is linked with great clubs, for example Real Madrid last summer, but even if they made offers the player would not move. This is not the right moment."
