Eduardo ends £10million Liverpool speculation
06:45 PM 19 November, 2009
Eduardo da Silva has signed a new contract at Arsenal Football Club.

Reports at the weekend linked the Croatian international striker with a shock £10million move to Liverpool, but he has ended all speculation by penning a new deal with the Gunners.

"We're delighted that Eduardo has signed a new contract with us,” Arsene Wenger told the official club site. "Eduardo is a special player with huge talent and natural goalscoring ability.

“We're all so happy that he has committed his future to Arsenal. We have also seen in his comeback from injury, Eduardo is a human being full of courage, bravery and commitment.

"His full recovery from this injury is a testament to Eduardo's character. We all look forward to enjoying Eduardo's performances in an Arsenal shirt for a long time to come."

Well said Boycie I like your style..? A huge if Eduardo did leave Arsenal to join Liverpool it would be a massive step backwords. Now RVP is out of action it;s time for Eduardo to show his class. He's going to let lose. Now watch him score like mad. We all know that Eduardo is world class.

This is what happens when the press have nothing else to write about they farm all the Arsenal players out to other clubs. Eduardo-Liverpool, Sagna-Juventus, Clichy-Real, Fabregas-Barcelona, Arshavin-Barcelona, Merida-Atletico and the list goes on. Unfounded bullshit to sell their bullshit papers.
