Arsenal Football Club are said to be interested in Neven Subotic.

The Serbian international is rated as one the most promising defenders in European football, with present club Borussia Dortmund said to rate him in the region of £20million.

That is a hell of a lot of money for a player who will not turn 21-years-old until next month, but it is supposedly a fee Manchester City are not completely ruling out.

Subotic, though, insists he has no plans to leave Dortmund at the moment, but reports now suggest Arsene Wenger is hoping to persuade him otherwise at the end of the season.

The Daily Mail claim the Gunners manager fears William Gallas could leave the Emirates Stadium in the summer, and he is plotting a move for the Dortmund ace.
