Diamanti has West Ham United struggles
Alessandro Diamanti is struggling at West Ham United Football Club, according to the president of his former club Livorno, Aldo Spinelli.
The Italian arrived at Upton Park in the summer with a big reputation, having been a late developer in his homeland where he was 26 when he made his Serie A debut.
Although the Hammers have seen glimpses of Diamanti’s talent, fans will be worried by comments made by Spinelli which suggest the player is struggling to settle in England.
“Diamanti rang me, admitting that it is hard to get into the style of English football," Spinelli told Radio Kiss-Kiss. "He earns so much money and is happy with the choice he made.
"Alessandro is a guy who three years ago was playing in the park and now is earning 5million euros in five years. For him, everything has happened so quickly."
