Robinho could yet return to Manchester City Football Club’s side on Saturday afternoon.

The Brazilian international hasn’t played since September due to an ankle injury, and although he only has an outside chance of facing Liverpool, he isn’t being ruled out.

"He is back training with the group, which is pleasing from everyone's point of view," said Blues boss Mark Hughes. "He is travelling with us.

“We will make a decision tomorrow. It could be a bit early for him to be involved, but certainly he will be in the frame for next week's game against Hull City."
