Dyer set for shock Ipswich Town return?
Kieron Dyer has been linked with a shock return to Ipswich Town Football Club.
The England international joined the Tractor Boys as a schoolboy, and impressed enough for Newcastle United to splash out £6million to take him in 1999.
Dyer made almost 200 appearances in the Premier League for the Magpies during his eight-year spell at St James Park, which was often interrupted by injury.
Now at West Ham United, the 30-year-old has again suffered with injury problems, and The Telegraph claim Ipswich want to offer him the chance of a return to Portman Road.
Roy Keane’s side are currently second-bottom of the Championship after a poor start to the season, but they remain ambitious and will hope to bring back one of their favourite sons.
