Emile Heskey was on the mark for Aston Villa Football Club on Saturday.

The powerful forward is often criticised for his poor scoring record for club and England, but he came off the bench to secure a 1-1 draw for Villa at Burnley.

"He has a reputation as a provider for other players, that's fine, but if you are a centre-forward you have to get your quota," said Villa manager Martin O’Neill.

"It was great news for him, he took it very well. I believe he is capable of scoring more goals than he does."
