Steve Bruce is delighted with Paulo Da Silva’s impact at Sunderland Football Club.
The Paraguayan international defender arrived at the Stadium of Light in the summer as an unknown, but he performances of late suggest the 29-year-old can become a real Black Cats star.
"In my experience with all the South Americans, they take time to adapt and adjust and get used to the North East - it takes me long enough!” said Bruce.
"But he is an outstanding defender. And the good thing about him is he is never rash, he is calm and a very, very good defender. He is excellent."
