Everton Football Club are keen to take Alan Hutton in the New Year.

The Scotland fullback has endured a difficult time at Tottenham Hotspur following his £9million move from Rangers in the New Year of 2008, with injuries halting his progress.

Reports in the News of the World on Sunday claimed the player is becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of first team action, and he could be looking at an exit in January.

It is being suggested that David Moyes is keen to take Hutton, 24, to Goodison Park during the winter window, although Spurs are likely to want to recoup at least half of their outlay.
