Zaki won’t consider Portsmouth switch
There is no way Amr Zaki will be signing for Portsmouth Football Club in January.
The Zamalek striker spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic where he initially impressed, and he has been linked with a return to England at Fratton Park.
However, Zaki has revealed he has no interest in moving to Paul Hart’s side as he won’t link up with Israeli duo Avram Grant and Tal Ben Haim as, well as Algerian Nadir Belhadj.
“After Portsmouth signed an Israeli player and also hired an Israeli football director (Avram Grant), a possible move was ruled out,” said Zaki on his own website.
"On top of that, no way could I play at Portsmouth with an Algerian within their ranks."
