Toure wanted to finish career at Arsenal
08:45 PM 23 November, 2009
Kolo Toure claims to have wanted to end his career at Arsenal Football Club.

The Ivory Coast international joined Manchester City in a £14million summer deal, and he claims a falling out with an unnamed team-mate forced the issue.

It is being widely speculation that William Gallas is the man being referred to by Toure, who insists he would have been happy to stay a Gunner for life.

"I had problems with certain players at Arsenal, especially one, whose name I will not say because I don't want to feed the controversy," Toure told Eurogoals One to One.

"I didn't have much time on the pitch last year because I think there's a player who got the manager believing that he and I had no understanding on the field.

"I have never looked to put a spoke in anyone's wheel at all. My wish was to finish my career at Arsenal, but there are always banana skins."

Sorry man city fans I don't beleave that Mr William Gallas was to blame for Mr Kolo Toure to leave The Arsenal. Mr Gallas & Mr Toure wrer linking up to a very strong centre back pairing. All the problams started when ADE turned up. The first season he was out standing.? Second season he wanted more money & then the crackes started to happen. I'm gutted you have Mr Kolo Toure but you can keep ADE thankyou. Mr Kolo Toure is a fine gentleman & a great player. Last match we had together you won but still a very good game. Next game I hope the result goes our way.?
