Pavlyuchenko can have Tottenham Hotspur future
03:00 PM 24 November, 2009
Harry Redknapp insists Roman Pavlyuchenko can have a future at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Russian international has slipped down to fourth choice striker at White Hart Lane, and he admits he wants to quit the club in January to find regular first team football.

Italian giants Roma are amongst the names leading the chase for the former Spartak Moscow frontman, but Redknapp has told the player he could still have a future at Spurs.

"I don't want to sell Roman Pavlyuchenko,” said the former Portsmouth manager. “Technically he's a fantastic talent but he keeps saying he wants to go.

"He's got great ability but he wants to play regularly but it's been difficult with (Jermain) Defoe, (Peter) Crouch and (Robbie) Keane all doing well. It's unlucky for him."
