Roman Abramovich would gladly part with £20million for Chelsea Football Club to land Marek Hamsik, according to reports.

With their transfer ban lifted temporarily, the current Premier League leaders are expected to splash the cash when the winter window opens in January.

A number of players have already been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, amongst them Napoli midfield star Hamsik, the 22-year-old former Brescia man.

It is understood the Serie A side want as much as £20million for the Slovakian international, and according to the People, Abramovich is willing to meet this asking price.
