Not quite a perfect day for West Ham United
10:28 AM 29 November, 2009
Gianfranco Zola was not entirely pleased with his West Ham United Football Club players on Saturday, despite winning a much-needed three points.

Goals from Jack Collison, Junior Stanislas, Guillermo Franco, Carlton Cole and Luis Jimenez gave the Hammers a 5-0 lead, but Zola was unhappy that Hull City were allowed to respond three times.

"It could have been a fantastic day. It's been, somehow, a very good day for us, but it could have been much better," Zola told Sky Sports. “You can't score five goals every time to win the game.

"To be fair to my players they gave everything until 5-0, and then physically they went a little bit down and we thought the game was over. Also, Burnley had a lot to give.

“They caused us a few problems. It's a good victory for us, it's important to get the feeling of three points at home, it makes a big difference for us."
