Exceptional Giggs earns Manchester United plaudits
01:29 PM 29 November, 2009
Sir Alex Ferguson has heaped the praise on Ryan Giggs.

The Manchester United legend turns 36-years-old today, and he celebrated with a goal and an assist in the 4-1 win at Portsmouth on Saturday afternoon.

"He's an exceptional player, a rarity. He will play for two years yet,” said Ferguson.”Happy Birthday. He's had it 36 times in his life, wait until he gets to 67. I think he'll be retired by then."

Giggs’ goal at Fratton Park was his 100th in the Premier League, and it keeps the Reds within touching distance of leaders Chelsea who travel to Arsenal on Sunday.
