Birmingham City Football Club boss Alex McLeish is full of praise for Lee Bowyer.

Not many Blues fans were jumping for joy when the controversial midfielder joined their club, but he has been a key member of their side so far this season.

And after scoring the only goal of the game at Wolverhampton Wanders on Sunday afternoon, Bowyer came in for some high praise from McLeish.

"Five goals in the Premier League from a midfielder is unbelievable and I take my hat off to Lee. He has been magnificent for us, truly magnificent," the City manager told Sky Sports.
