Roma’s Baptista could be set for River Plate
Julio Baptista has been linked with a move to River Plate in the winter window.
The Brazilian striker has failed to reproduce the form he showed during his days at Sevilla since leaving the club, with spells at Real Madrid, Arsenal and now Roma following.
Baptista is currently still plying his trade in the Italian capital, but he has struggled to hold down a place under Claudio Ranieri and has been linked with a January exit.
And according to reports in Italy, if Antonio Caselli win the upcoming presidential elections at River Plate, he will make a move to take the forward to Argentina.
