Valencia are looking to find a replacement for David Villa.

The La Liga side look like finally offloading their star asset during the New Year transfer window, but they will only do so if they can find a suitable replacement beforehand.

"The exit of Villa will be dependant on us identifying a suitable replacement," coach Unai Emery said. "At the moment the club is working on that, but any decision will not rest with me.”

Chelsea and Manchester United are known admirers of Villa, who is likely to command a transfer fee in the region of £40million when the window reopens.
