Liverpool striker set for Hertha return?
Andriy Voronin could be set for a return to Hertha Berlin in the New Year.
The Ukrainian international has been a huge flop in England since his free transfer move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2007, and he spent last season on loan at Hertha.
Voronin returned to the Liverpool squad this season but he continues to disappoint, and Rafael Benitez would be glad to get him off the payroll in January.
Hertha couldn’t agree a deal with the Reds for the 30-year-old in the summer, but reports in Germany suggest they are confident of taking him when the window reopens.
