Heskey could still be an option for Liverpool
06:30 PM 30 November, 2009
Emile Heskey could yet be an option for Liverpool Football Club in the New Year.

The Reds were heavily linked with the England international last January, but he eventually joined Aston Villa from Wigan Athletic in a £3.5million.

Heskey has failed to find his best form in the Midlands and is often overlooked by Martin O’Neill, leading to him revealing he may move on again in the New Year.

The Telegraph claim Rafael Benitez remains interested in the 31-year-old, who enjoyed a four-year spell at Anfield from 2000 to 2004 before being sold to Birmingham City.

oh what a world class signing/investment. Why piss away money on the likes of Aguero and van der vaart, when we can have Emile Heskey. May aswell re-sign Djimi Traore whilst were at it.
