Simpson keen on Arsenal return
07:45 PM 30 November, 2009
Jay Simpson believes he can help Arsenal Football Club through their injury problems.

The 20-year-old striker is on a season-long loan deal at Queens Park Rangers, and he has scored eight goals in fourteen appearances for the promotion hopefuls.

Back at the Emirates Stadium the Gunners have injury problems over Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner, and Simpson believes he could do a job if recalled.

"I know the club come and watch all my home games and they've got copies of my performances, but it is out of my hands whether I get recalled or not,” he told the Daily Mirror.

“I want to play at the top level. They've picked up a lot of injuries at Arsenal at the moment and I'm confident I can score constantly in the Premier League."
