Newcastle United Football Club are keeping tabs on Tom Cleverley.

The youngster has a bright future ahead of him in the game, and he is having an impressive season on loan at Championship side Watford.

Sir Alex Ferguson rates Cleverley as a future Manchester United player, and is likely to add him to his first team squad when the midfielder returns to Old Trafford in the summer.

However, reports suggest Chris Hughton wants the 20-year-old at St James Park on a permanent basis, and he may make a sizeable bid in the New Year.
